About NGM

NGM Sustainable Developments Limited was formed in 2003. The property development company works in partnership with NaREC, the New and Renewable Energy Centre in Northumberland and planning consultancy GVA Grimley, and has been funded by the European Regional Development Fund, through NStar, the North East regeneration investment company. The company specialises in the provision of energy efficient buildings which are constructed in timber from renewable sources and provide residents with a zero or low carbon rating. The properties are built on floating concrete pontoons and provide an eco-friendly development solution for the thousands of hectares of unused water-space in the UK, such as disused docks or flooded quarries.
